Joe Bryson is an 18 year old, singer/songwriting, indie artist from South Louisiana. Growing up from southern, cajun roots, Joe had a number of different places to draw inspiration from. His sound stems from anywhere between Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, to even some of the modern day country artists. He was raised with a good upbringing in a good, Catholic family, as one of six children. He began playing at a very young age and has never stopped since. Joe's sound can be described as "organic". He spent one summer in Nashville, writing with some of the top studios in the city, which eventually led to the release of his first three singles, one of which (She Don't Really Miss Me) receiving over half a million streams on Spotify, catching some serious attention. Joe's main goal with music is really just to communicate with people. "I (Joe) just want to make music that cuts through all the noise today...Something that people can really listen to." However, Joe recently faced some hardship in getting diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The cancer was obviously a scare, but never got the best of him. He spent his time in recovery writing songs about his battle and the entire cancer ordeal. Joe is currently in the process of releasing them as individual singles, "each one telling a story". Overall, the young artist is definitely unique, and one to look out for in the next few years.
