Marilyn Charmaine is a New Orleans native who is set to release her first original EP Album "Love" this December. She grew up in the Bywater listening to the sounds of music from the fifties and sixties. Music her parents and other family members played daily. Marilyn's most influential musical entertainer and idol is the late and great, Etta James,and much like Etta, Marilyn is a bluesy and soulful songstress. She's a rocking,southern powerhouse vocalist who knows when to tone it down,and touch your soul and so very unexpectedly. Marilyn writes from her heart, you' ll find she's a bit of a storyteller. Her music and words speak life, they speak of the heartache & happiness in love,the desire and crave for love that exist in us all. There is only truth in Marilyn's music. Her music is timeless and pure. She is an Artist of many talents. Her lyrical talents are beyond deep. The most defined talent yet  seen, is her ability to paint pictures into sound. Marilyn's ability to write a story through song is incredible. Connecting each song together even in sequence from the beginning to the bitter, sweet end. The release of her album "Love" was being written while in the many moments of experiencing such love, but over a four year emotional rollercoaster ride which can be heard on this album. While describing "love" in the album, she paints painful yet beautiful images and stages of that love she is feeling and craving for your eyes to imagine while your ears are submerged in those very sounds of love on this EP Album which is being produced by Robert Sturcken. It was expected out nearly two years ago with just two songs on the EP, but then the Love Story unexpectedly continued and Marilyn kept writting and Robert kept playing wonderful music,while calling in talent all over the world and producing this EP while MC would sing through her emotions. Finally we have a finished product, he says. While no "name" mention of "him" ever in the Album (the love Marilyn  sings of )-Robert, as her producer is grateful to him for inspiring such emotion sparked in MC ,ultimately providing her with such deep and intimate material which makes for great music and he is thankful we finally have an end in sight. He laughs out loud and says,"I am very proud to have worked with Marilyn on this album and I am extremely excited to watch it's birth into the world and her birth as a true and original Artist."
