Born and Raises in Louisiana, Michael has started to shine as an upcoming country artist. A self-taught musician with a rich musical family history, Michael is carrying that tradition into country music. In 2013, he competed in American Country Star through Renegade Radio and made top 200 out of 4000 contestants. He then traveled to Nashville where he played at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Michael started song writing with a known producer who had played steel guitar and worked personally with Shania Twain, Merle Haggard, and Loretta Lynn. Together they are currently working on an album to be pushed throughout the industry. He has opened up acts such as Reckless Kelly in 2014 who has made quite a name for themselves in the Texas country movement. Recently, Michael opened for rising star Frank Foster to a sold out crowd at the Varsity Theatre in 2015. Michael has gained much attention with his Louisiana inspired country songs while writing radio worthy catchy hooks. He has as released a single titled "Coming off a Turnaround", co-written by Ronnie Calhoun and produced by Matt Tortorich.
